Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What if my business does not brew beer?
- A: The directory only lists business who primarily produce beer. If your business does not produce beer (eg. you only produce wine, cider, spirits, or alt. fermented beverages) you will not be listed.
Q: How is "Black-owned" defined?
- A: The NB2A defines Black brewery ownership as the following:
  - Black Owned = 51% or greater ownership
  - Partially Black Owned = 50% or less ownership
  - Black Operated/Lead = Head Brewmaster, President or C-Suite position
Q: What if our business is just starting-up and we are not yet licensed to brew or distribute beer, can we still be listed?
- A: YES! Your business will be listed as a "Brewery-in-Planning". When you begin licensed operations, you will then contact us to update your listing.
